I Paid But Didn't Get a Confirmation Email
If you see a charge on your bank statement but have not received a ticket email, here is what to do.
First: your payment is safe
If the charge appears on your statement, your payment was captured by Stripe. Your tickets are being created or have already been created on our end. In most cases, the email just needs a moment to arrive or has landed in the wrong folder.
Step 1: Wait a few minutes
After payment, it can take up to 5 minutes for your ticket email to arrive. The system processes your payment, creates your tickets, generates QR codes, and sends the email. If you just completed checkout, give it a moment.
Step 2: Check spam and promotions folders
This is the most common reason for missing emails. Check:
- Gmail: Promotions tab and Spam folder
- Outlook/Hotmail: Junk Email folder and Focused/Other view
- Yahoo: Spam folder
- Apple Mail: Junk mailbox
If you find it in spam, mark it as "Not Spam" to receive future emails normally.
Step 3: Retrieve your tickets online
You do not need the email to access your tickets. Use the ticket lookup feature:
- Go to the event page and click Find My Tickets.
- Enter the email address you used at checkout.
- Check your email for a magic link (valid for 15 minutes).
- Click the link to view your tickets with QR codes.
This works even if the original ticket email was never delivered.
Step 4: Contact the organizer
If the steps above do not help, reach out to the event organizer. Their contact information is on the event page. They can:
- Confirm your order exists in their system
- Resend your ticket email directly
Rare edge cases
In very rare situations, there can be a brief delay between payment capture and order completion. If more than 30 minutes have passed and you still cannot find your tickets via the lookup page, the organizer can investigate using their order management tools. Your payment is recorded by Stripe regardless, so you will not lose money.
