Trying the Demo
Want to see exactly what your buyers will experience before you go live? Equaticket has a demo event you can use to walk through the full purchase flow — from event page to ticket delivery — without creating an account or making a real charge.
What the demo covers
The demo event is a real Equaticket event page connected to Stripe's test mode. You'll experience:
- The public event page with ticket availability
- The Stripe checkout flow (no real card required — use the test card below)
- A ticket confirmation email sent to your inbox
- A ticket with a scannable QR code
This is the exact same flow your buyers will go through. The only difference is that no money changes hands.
How to access it
Go to equaticket.com/events/equaticket-demo. No login or account required.
Test card details
Use the following card details at checkout:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Card number | 4242 4242 4242 4242 |
| Expiration | Any future date (e.g. 12/29) |
| CVC | Any 3 digits (e.g. 123) |
| ZIP | Any 5 digits (e.g. 10001) |
These are Stripe's standard test card numbers. They work in test mode only and will never charge a real card.
What happens after checkout
You'll receive a real ticket confirmation email at the address you entered. The email contains your ticket with a QR code, just like a real purchase. The ticket is valid on the demo event only and cannot be used for real events.
Demo purchases are automatically cleaned up after 7 days, so your email address won't accumulate demo tickets over time.
Rate limits
To keep the demo fair, purchases are limited to:
- 3 demo tickets per IP address per hour
- 3 demo tickets per email address per 24 hours
If you hit a limit, try again after the window resets.
Sharing the demo with your team
The demo URL is public and shareable — no special access required. Send it to anyone you'd like to show Equaticket to.
