One Staff Link for Tonight's Shows
If you run two or more shows in the same night, you can give your door staff one link that signs them in to all of them. They tap it once on their phone and switch shows from the scanner, with no door code to type.
Get the link
- Open Dashboard. The Door staff, tonight card appears when two or more of your shows are on tonight. With a single show, use that event's own staff link from its Check-in tab instead.
- Choose Copy Tonight link, Show QR code or Share.
- Send the link to your door staff, or let them scan the QR code from your screen.
The card lists the shows the link covers, including timed-entry series and their time slots. A show that does not have a door code yet is listed as not included.
What staff see
Staff open the link on their phone. They land on the show that is on now, and the scanner lets them switch to the others. If a ticket belongs to a different show tonight, the scanner says so and offers Switch.
The first tap needs a connection. If a phone has no signal, it shows "No signal. Connect, then tap Try again." and nothing changes until it reconnects.
How long the link works
The link covers tonight's shows as they were when you copied it. It stops working for each show when that show's check-in closes, or at the end of the night, whichever is later. The card shows the exact time once you copy the link. A show you add after copying the link is not included, so copy the link again.
Stop the link for a show
End all sessions signs devices out, but anyone who still has the link can sign back in. To stop the link for one show, reset that show's door code. The other shows keep working. Staff who tap the link afterwards are told which show was reset.
If something goes wrong
- "This link does not open any show right now." Every show on the link has closed or been reset. Copy a fresh link from the dashboard.
- "This link is not valid." The link was cut off or changed when it was shared. Send it again.
- "This staff link has ended." The night is over. Copy tomorrow's link.
- "Verify to continue." A signed-in team member with two-step verification needs to verify first, then open the link again. Door staff can type the door code instead.
