Adding Your Logo
Your logo appears on your event pages, in walk-up checkout, on the ticket confirmation page, and at the top of the ticket and order emails we send to your buyers. When you add a logo, it replaces the Equaticket name at the top of those emails. The footer of every email still says "Powered by Equaticket" and links to Equaticket, on every plan.
Only owners and admins can change the logo.
Upload a logo
- Open Dashboard > Settings > Branding.
- Drag your logo onto the Logo box, or click it to browse.
- Check the preview under the logo. It shows roughly where your logo appears in a ticket email, on the order confirmation page and on your event page.
To swap it, choose Replace. To take it off, choose Remove. Removing your logo puts the Equaticket name back at the top of your emails.
When you replace your logo, new emails use the new one. Emails your buyers already have keep showing the logo they were sent with. When you remove your logo, emails your buyers already have stop showing it too.
You can upload a new logo up to 20 times an hour. If you hit that limit, wait a little and try again.
What works best
- PNG with a transparent background, at least 600 x 300 pixels. JPEG and WebP also work.
- Up to 2 MB.
- From square to about 3 times wider than tall. Anything wider than 6 to 1 or taller than 1 to 6 is rejected. Logos wider than 3 to 1 or taller than 1 to 3 upload with a warning because they can look small or unusual.
- A dark logo, or one on its own solid background. Our pages and emails use white backgrounds. If your logo is white or very light on a transparent background, you will see a warning that it may be hard to read. The upload still works, but the logo may disappear.
We resize your logo for you. We also make a separate email copy that trims the empty space around your logo, so it shows at a good size in the email header. You do not need to prepare anything extra.
If your logo looks wrong in an email
Some email apps, such as Outlook for Windows, do not show every image format. Logos uploaded before this email copy existed may not show there. Upload the logo again and we make the email copy.
Some email apps also hide images until the reader allows them. When that happens, the reader sees your organization name in the header instead of the picture.
Brand colors
You choose two colors in Dashboard > Settings > Branding.
- Primary Color is for your main buttons and your event header. It colors the Get Tickets button on your event page and door page, the Get Tickets button in the embedded widget, the header band on an event with no banner or cover image, the calendar button in your ticket email, and the headings and buttons on the order confirmation and ticket pages.
- Accent Color is for links and highlights. It colors the links on your event page, the thin bar along the top of your ticket and order emails, and the bar and borders on the order confirmation and ticket pages.
If you upload a banner image, the image is shown as is and your colors do not tint it. If a color is too light to read, we use the Equaticket color in that spot instead, so text always stays readable. The one exception is the colored band at the top of an event page with no banner image: it uses your primary color even when it is light, with black or white text chosen to match. Buttons and text still need a darker shade. If you never change the colors, your pages and emails keep the standard Equaticket look.
After you save, your published event pages refresh within a minute or so. Emails already sent do not change. See Creating an Event for the rest of the event setup.
