How Billing Works
Equaticket charges a flat subscription fee with zero per-ticket fees. You pay Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) directly to Stripe -- we never mark up or touch your payment processing.
Plans and pricing
| Plan | Monthly equivalent | Quarterly | Annual (25% off) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | -- | -- |
| Starter | $29 | $87 | $261 |
| Growth | $79 | $237 | $711 |
| Pro | $189 | $567 | $1,701 |
All paid plans are billed quarterly (minimum) or annually. There is no monthly billing option. Annual plans save 25% -- that is effectively one quarter free.
What every tier includes
All tiers -- including Free -- get unlimited events, ticket sales, an embeddable widget, custom branding, promo codes, basic check-in, order management, and refunds. The "Powered by Equaticket" attribution appears on all tiers. Paid tiers add check-in PWA with realtime sync, gate/zone management, BYO email domain, check-in analytics and data export.
Pro adds priority support with guaranteed 24-hour response time. Need more than 10,500 tickets per quarter? Contact us for Enterprise pricing.
Rolling ticket cap
The only hard limit is your ticket cap. Here is how enforcement works:
| Tier | Ticket Cap | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 50 | 30-day rolling |
| Starter | 750 | 90-day rolling |
| Growth | 3,000 | 90-day rolling |
| Pro | 10,500 | 90-day rolling |
How the rolling window works: Caps are not tied to the calendar month.
The Free tier looks back 30 days; paid tiers look back 90 days — both measured
from the exact moment a new ticket sale is attempted. There is no reset date.
A ticket sold 29 days ago (Free) or 89 days ago (paid) still counts against
your current cap.
- At 70%: You see a dashboard warning and receive an email heads-up.
- At 90%: A more prominent warning appears.
- At 100%: You cannot publish new events, but existing published events continue selling. We never block a buyer's purchase on a live event.
Caps do not reset on a fixed date. The window is continuous — it always looks back the full
window period (30 or 90 days) from the current moment.
Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately. Unused time on your current plan is prorated as a credit toward the new plan.
- Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan's features through the end of your prepaid period.
- Cancellation works like a downgrade to Free -- your access continues through the end of your prepaid period.
Money-back guarantee
Every paid plan includes a no-questions-asked full refund guarantee on your first quarterly payment. If Equaticket is not the right fit, request a refund any time within your first billing period and you will receive a full refund.
