The problem we're solving
The #1 reason organizers stay on bad platforms
Most organizers know they're overpaying. They do the math, they see the savings, and then they stop.
Because they've already sold tickets for their next event.
Switching mid-cycle means leaving those buyers behind — or manually tracking down every attendee and asking them to re-purchase. Neither option is acceptable.
So they stay. Event after event, per-ticket fee after per-ticket fee.
Equaticket removes that roadblock entirely.
How the migration works
Here's how easy it actually is
No developer needed. No re-purchasing. No buyer confusion.
01
Export your attendee list
Download a CSV from your current platform. Eventbrite, Luma, and TicketSpice exports are detected automatically — no manual column mapping required.
02
Upload and preview
Drop your file into the Import tool on any event's Attendees tab. Equaticket shows you exactly what will happen: which tickets will be issued, which rows are duplicates, and how unrecognized ticket types will be handled — before a single email is sent.
03
Confirm and send
One click. Equaticket generates a new ticket for every imported attendee, complete with a QR code, and sends them a delivery email. Your buyers are ready to walk through the door.
That's it.
What your attendees experience
Your buyers won't even notice
From an attendee's perspective, this is just a ticket delivery email. It looks like any other ticket confirmation — your event name, their ticket details, a QR code ready for check-in.
They don't need to re-enter payment info. They don't need to create an account. They don't need to do anything except show up.
The details that matter
No gotchas. We checked.
We built the import tool the way we'd want it to work if we were the organizer.
It doesn't eat into your email quota
Re-issue emails are quota-exempt. Migrating 500 attendees won't burn through your monthly email allowance.
It doesn't count against your ticket cap
Imported tickets are flagged separately and excluded from your monthly ticket limit. You're not penalized for tickets you already sold somewhere else.
You see a dry run before anything sends
The validation step shows you duplicates, unmatched ticket types, and row-level issues before you commit. Nothing goes out until you say so.
Refunds route back to the original platform
If an attendee needs a refund for a ticket they purchased elsewhere, they'll be directed back to where they bought it. This keeps your Equaticket revenue reporting clean and accurate.
It works on every plan — including Free
You don't need to upgrade to migrate your attendees. The import tool is available to every Equaticket organizer.
Supported platforms
We speak Eventbrite, Luma, and TicketSpice natively
Equaticket automatically recognizes export formats from:
Eventbrite
the most common export format, fully supported
Luma
attendee CSV exports mapped automatically
TicketSpice
column headers detected and matched
Using something else? The import tool includes a manual column-mapping step so you can match your CSV fields to the right attendee data. If your platform isn't listed, it'll still work — it just takes one extra minute.
What you save by switching
Let's talk about what staying is actually costing you
At $1.79 + 3.7% per ticket (Eventbrite's standard fee), a $40 ticket costs you $3.27 in platform fees. On 500 tickets, that's $1,635 — gone.
On Equaticket's Growth plan, you'd pay $79/month. At 500 tickets, that's $0.16 per ticket.
The migration takes an afternoon. The savings are permanent.
