Everything included
One platform. Everything you need to sell tickets and run your door.
Equaticket gives you ticketing, check-in, embeds, a full API, and white-label branding — on a flat subscription with zero per-ticket fees. No feature tiers hidden behind enterprise pricing. No marketplace taking a cut of every sale.
50 tickets/month free. Paid plans from $29/mo billed quarterly.
Ticketing
Sell tickets the way you want to, without paying for the privilege.
Paid + free tickets
Sell paid tickets, free tickets, or any combination. Set your price, Equaticket handles the rest. Funds land directly in your Stripe account — not held by a platform.
Multiple ticket tiers
Create as many ticket types as you need — GA, VIP, early bird, staff, press, comps. Each type has its own price, quantity, and availability window. Buyers see all options in one checkout flow.
Promo codes & discounts
Create percentage or fixed-amount promo codes. Set usage limits, expiry dates, and tie codes to specific ticket types. Great for early-bird windows, partner deals, and comp lists.
Pricing ladder (dynamic tiers)
Automatically move buyers to the next price tier when a threshold is hit — e.g., Early Bird sells out and Standard price kicks in. Fully automated. No manual tier management.
Waitlist with 24-hour purchase windows
When an event sells out, buyers can join the waitlist. When a ticket becomes available, the next person in line gets a 24-hour window to complete their purchase. FIFO. Automated.
Per-ticket attendee names
Optionally require a named attendee per ticket at checkout. Names appear on ticket delivery emails, ticket cards, the check-in scanner, and your attendee export. Buyers can update names up until event start via self-serve link.
Full-ticket refunds
Issue full refunds per ticket directly from the dashboard. The refund is processed via Stripe and the attendee is notified by email. One refund = one ticket.
Venue contact info
Add a venue contact email per event. It appears on the hosted event page, in ticket delivery and reminder emails, and on ticket cards — so attendees always know who to call day-of.
Event banner images
Upload a full-width hero photo per event. Direct R2 upload, auto-processed to 1500×500px WebP with center crop. Takes precedence over cover images for hero rendering and og:image. Mobile-responsive.
Event Management
From one-off shows to weekly recurring series — managed in one place.
Recurring event series
Create a recurring event series with daily, weekly, monthly, or custom recurrence rules. Each instance is a full event with its own URL and ticket page. Bulk-publish all upcoming instances at once.
Event cloning
Duplicate any past event with one click. All ticket types, pricing, and settings carry over. Great for organizers who run the same show repeatedly.
Draft → publish lifecycle
Events live as drafts until you're ready. Publish when your Stripe account is connected. Pause, cancel, or mark complete — each state is explicit and triggers the right behavior.
Event lifecycle management
Full state machine: draft → published → paused / cancelled / completed → archived. Auto-pause on Stripe disconnect or subscription lapse. No silent failures.
Event-level stats
Per-event dashboard: tickets sold, revenue, ticket type breakdown, recent orders, and check-in rate. See what's selling and what's not, without exporting a spreadsheet.
Custom event URL / slug
Every event gets a human-readable slug you can customize — equaticket.com/e/your-event-name. Good for SEO and for links that actually describe the event.
JSON-LD / SEO structured data
Every hosted event page includes Event structured data for Google Search. Rich results — date, venue, ticket availability, price range — without any extra work.
Organizer branding pipeline
Your logo, colors, and name appear consistently across the hosted event page, embed widget, and transactional emails. Buyers see your brand, not ours.
Check-in & Door Management
Scan tickets in under 50 milliseconds. Works offline. No app install.
QR code check-in
Every ticket gets a unique HMAC-signed QR code. Scan on any phone with a browser — no app install required. Server-validated: every scan returns a definitive pass/fail, no stale local lists.
Attendee search
Look up attendees by name or order ID. Handles the "I lost my email" situation without holding up the line.
Haptic & audio feedback
Short vibration on success, triple-pulse on failure. Audible tones so staff get confirmation even when they're not looking at the screen. Respects device silent mode.
Torch toggle & camera flip
One tap to turn on the flashlight for dark venues. Switch between front and rear cameras without restarting the scanner.
Real-time multi-device sync
Scan from multiple phones simultaneously. Every device sees the same live state. When the front door scans a ticket, the side entrance knows in under 50ms. No double-scans, no radio chatter.
Sub-50ms HMAC verification
Client-side cryptographic validation means the scanner responds before the network round-trip completes. The green checkmark appears while the server confirmation is still in flight.
Offline scanning with auto-sync
Venue Wi-Fi dies? Keep scanning. The PWA pre-syncs your full attendee manifest to the device and validates tickets locally. Scans queue in the background and sync automatically when connectivity returns. Conflict-aware — no silent failures.
Event day mode
A full-screen experience built for event day. Bottom tab navigation (Scanner, Search, Recent), a live stats strip showing check-in count and sell-through, and a Supabase Realtime activity feed.
Gate and zone management
Set up separate check-in points for GA, VIP, backstage, or any zone. Each gate scans independently but shares the same live state. Check-in analytics break down by gate.
Check-in analytics + CSV export
Check-in rate and no-show summary, with per-gate breakdowns. Export the full check-in log as CSV.
Dedicated check_in_only staff role
Invite door staff with a role that limits them to the scanner and event list. No access to revenue, settings, or other events. No account creation required — send them a magic link and they're scanning in seconds.
Installable PWA
One tap to add to the home screen. No App Store, no Play Store, no MDM. The next time staff opens it, it goes straight to the last active event.
Magic link staff auth
Send an invite from the dashboard. Staff tap the link and they're authenticated and scanning in seconds. HMAC-signed, single-use, expires in 8 hours. No account creation required.
Embed & Distribution
Sell tickets on your website, in WordPress, in Squarespace — anywhere you are.
Inline embed widget
Drop a <script> tag on any page. The widget renders ticket types, quantities, and checkout in place. Buyers complete the purchase without leaving your site. Works on Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Webflow, and hand-coded sites.
Modal overlay widget
Add the Equaticket script to any button with a data-eq-event-id attribute. One click opens a centered overlay (desktop) or bottom sheet (mobile) with the full checkout flow. Vanilla JS, no dependencies, under 5KB.
WordPress plugin
Install from the WordPress plugin directory. Use the [equaticket] shortcode or the Gutenberg block. Supports inline and modal modes. No code required — just paste your event ID.
Squarespace extension
Native Squarespace extension for inline embed, modal button, and button link modes. Config panel previews event title and date automatically. In review for marketplace listing.
Wix app
Native Wix Blocks app with iframe embed. Relays eq:ticket_added, eq:checkout_started, and eq:purchase_complete postMessage events through the Wix iframe boundary. In review for marketplace listing.
Hosted event page
Every event gets a hosted page at equaticket.com/e/your-event-slug. Share the link directly for social media, email campaigns, or when an embed isn't practical.
Conversion tracking (postMessage)
The widget fires eq:ticket_added, eq:checkout_started, and eq:purchase_complete events that bubble up to your parent page. Map them to Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, GTM, or any analytics tool.
Organizer Tools
Built for operators who run events repeatedly, not just once.
Team roles & permissions
Invite team members as Owner, Admin, Event Manager, or Check-in Only. Each role has the right level of access — revenue and billing for owners, event management for staff, door scanning for check-in teams. Token-based invite flow with 7-day expiry.
BYO email domain
Connect your own Resend sending domain so ticket confirmations, reminders, and order emails come from you@yourvenue.com, not noreply@equaticket.com. Buyers see your brand in the inbox.
Subscription pause
Life happens. Pause your subscription once per rolling 12-month period for up to 90 days. Re-engagement emails at day 60 and 80. Auto-cancel at expiry if you don't return.
Money-back guarantee
Your first quarterly payment is backed by a money-back guarantee. One-time per organization. No questions asked if it's not the right fit.
Organizer onboarding flow
A 7-step onboarding checklist guides new organizers from signup to first sale: Stripe Connect, event creation, branding, team invite, and first embed. Contextual guidance throughout.
Order management & refund tools
View and manage every order from the dashboard. Issue full-ticket refunds directly — no support ticket required. Stripe processes the refund and the attendee is notified automatically.
Legal consent system
Versioned platform documents and organizer-level event policies. Organizers accept current platform terms before publishing. Buyers consent at checkout. Append-only consent records.
In-app help center
14+ help articles, client-side search, and ISR-cached pages — all inside the product. No opening a new tab to find the answer. Contextual help links throughout the dashboard.
In-app bug reporting
Organizers can submit a bug report directly from the dashboard. Auto-captures affected area, severity, page URL, session context, tier, Stripe status, and browser. Critical bugs trigger an immediate alert.
Public status page
equaticket.com/status shows real-time platform health and incident updates. Organizers can check it any time without contacting support.
Event series dashboard
Manage all instances of a recurring series from one view. Bulk-publish, propagate template changes, extend the event horizon, and see all instances in a single list.
Buyer Experience
A checkout your attendees will actually trust.
No surprise fees
Buyers pay the price you set and nothing more. No $2.50 "service fee." No "facility charge." No last-step sticker shock. Your ticket price is your ticket price.
Mobile-optimized checkout
Stripe Checkout with full mobile optimization. Buyers on any device get a clean, fast checkout experience — no pinch-zooming required.
Ticket delivery email
Confirmation and QR code land in the buyer's inbox immediately after purchase. Includes event details, venue contact, and a one-tap link to view the ticket.
Event reminder emails
Automated reminder emails sent before the event. Transactional only — no marketing, no re-engagement. The buyer gets the info they need and nothing they didn't ask for.
Self-serve ticket resend
Buyers can request a ticket resend from the public help flow with Turnstile verification — no support contact required. Rate-limited to 3 resends per order per 24 hours.
Self-serve attendee name update
When per-ticket names are enabled, buyers can update the attendee name on any ticket up until the event starts via a self-serve link. No support ticket, no friction.
Waitlist with clear purchase window
When a ticket becomes available, waitlisted buyers get a clear email with their 24-hour purchase window. FIFO order, automated.
Anonymous checkout
Buyers can complete checkout without creating an account. Lower friction = higher conversion.
Buyer help flow
A public-facing help flow with self-service ticket resend. Buyers can get help without creating a support ticket or waiting for an email reply.
Developer & API
A real API with real developer tooling. On every plan.
Full public REST API
The Equaticket v1 API is available on all tiers — Free through Pro. Read and write access to events, ticket types, orders, attendees, and webhooks. No gated-behind-enterprise nonsense.
Live and test mode
Every account gets a sk_live_ key and a sk_test_ key. Test keys operate on isolated synthetic data that never counts toward your quota or appears in real reports. Seed data included.
Scoped API keys
Create keys with only the permissions they need: events:read, orders:read, attendees:read, webhooks:read/write, events:write, ticket_types:write. Immutable after creation. Revocation is immediate and permanent.
Write endpoints
Create events, update events, publish, cancel, create ticket types, update and delete ticket types — all via API. Build integrations that manage your event catalog programmatically.
Outbound webhooks
Subscribe to order.created, order.refunded, event.sold_out, and ticket.checked_in events. Per-subscription HMAC-SHA256 signing secrets, encrypted at rest. Exponential backoff retry (4 attempts). Full delivery log in the dashboard.
Idempotency keys
Pass an Idempotency-Key header on any POST request to make it safe to retry. Two-key Redis pattern with crash recovery. 24-hour window. Concurrent retry protection.
OpenAPI 3.1 spec
Full machine-readable spec at docs/openapi/v1.yaml. Always in sync with the live API.
Postman collection
Auto-generated Postman collection with live and test environment files. Ready to import and run.
Webhook verification guide
Production-ready HMAC signature verification snippets in Node.js, Python, PHP, and Ruby. Troubleshooting section for common failures. Secret rotation documented.
Zapier & Make guides
Step-by-step guides for connecting Equaticket webhooks to Zapier and Make. Example workflows: new order → Google Sheets, event sold out → Slack, checked in → Airtable.
Tier-based rate limits
Free: 60 req/min. Starter: 100 req/min. Growth: 300 req/min. Pro: 600 req/min. Limits are documented, predictable, and enforced via Upstash Redis.
Deprecation policy
6-month notice window for endpoints under 6 months old. 12-month notice for established endpoints. RFC 8594 Sunset and Deprecation headers on deprecated routes. Email notifications to orgs using affected endpoints.
X-Request-Id on every response
Every API response — success and error — includes an X-Request-Id header. Echo your own ID for end-to-end tracing. Structured request logging per call.
Pricing model
Zero per-ticket fees. Flat subscription. Your revenue is yours.
Every Equaticket plan — including the free tier — charges zero per-ticket fees. You set the ticket price. That's what buyers pay. The platform takes nothing on top.
Subscription plans are billed quarterly (3 months upfront) or annually (25% off). No monthly billing, no per-ticket overage fees, no platform cuts.

What zero per-ticket fees means in practice
An organizer selling 500 tickets at $25 each:
| Platform | Per-ticket fees | Platform cost |
|---|---|---|
| Eventbrite | ~11% | ~$1,375 |
| Luma Plus | 0% (but $69/mo) | $69 |
| TicketSpice | $0.99/ticket | ~$495 |
| Equaticket Starter | $0 | $29 |
Eventbrite fees based on 3.7% + $1.79/ticket service fee + 2.9% processing on the gross. Luma Plus is $69/mo. TicketSpice is $0.99/ticket. Equaticket Starter is $29/mo billed quarterly.
