“The industry model is wrong. This is my attempt to fix it.”

Equaticket charges a flat subscription fee, not a cut of every ticket. For nonprofits running fundraising events, that changes everything.

The problem

Why nonprofits pay too much for ticketing

Ticket platforms built for commercial promoters charge per-ticket fees. That model makes sense when you’re a venue maximizing revenue, but nonprofits aren’t trying to maximize revenue, they’re trying to keep costs low so more of the ticket price reaches the mission.

Eventbrite’s service fee is a percentage of the ticket price plus a flat per-ticket charge, plus payment processing on top. On a $25 fundraising ticket, that’s $3.52 per ticket before your donor’s money reaches you. On a sold-out 400-ticket event, you’ve donated over $1,407 to a ticketing company.

Equaticket is a flat subscription. Sell 10 tickets or 1,000. The monthly cost doesn’t change.

How it works

What you get

Zero Equaticket ticket fees

Your $25 ticket raises $25 minus payment processing. That's it. No Equaticket service fees, no per-attendee platform charges, no platform cut. Stripe's payment processing applies (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), but that's Stripe's fee, not ours.

Your donors are yours

Every buyer's name and email is in your Equaticket audience dashboard. Export your full attendee list as a CSV anytime, no restrictions. Connect to Mailchimp or Kit to add donors directly to your email list.

Waitlist for high-demand events

Set a ticket limit and enable the waitlist. When tickets sell out, buyers can join a waitlist and are automatically notified if a spot opens up. Useful for galas, benefit dinners, and limited-capacity fundraisers.

Embed on your existing site

If you already have a website (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or anything else), you can embed the Equaticket ticket widget directly on your event page. Your donors never leave your site. No separate platform to maintain.

Free events at no cost

Host a free community event, volunteer orientation, or RSVP-only gathering at no charge. Free events don't count toward your ticket cap.

Promo codes for early donors

Create promo codes that offer a discounted ticket price for your most loyal donors, board members, or volunteers. Set usage limits so early-bird pricing applies only to your inner circle.

Pricing for nonprofits

Equaticket doesn’t have a nonprofit discount. We don’t need one. Our base pricing is already built on a model that works for mission-driven organizations.

Common nonprofit use cases

Annual galas and benefit dinners

Ticket sales, waitlists for sold-out events, donor name capture per ticket.

Benefit concerts and performances

Tiered pricing (Early Bird, General Admission, Door), promo codes for members and major donors.

Walks, runs, and outdoor events

High-volume ticket sales at lower price points where per-ticket fees hurt most. Savings per ticket are largest here.

Community programs and workshops

Recurring event series for weekly or monthly programs. Free events for open community sessions don't count toward your ticket cap.

Fundraising auctions and invite-only events

Access-code gated tickets for invite-only events. Attendee name collection per ticket for auction registration.

Frequently asked questions

We don't have a separate nonprofit tier, but our flat subscription model already makes a significant difference for mission-driven organizations. On Growth at $79/mo, you pay the same whether you sell 200 or 2,000 tickets at a gala — none of your ticket revenue goes to a platform.

No. Equaticket charges a flat monthly subscription, billed quarterly. We take nothing from each ticket sold. Your attendees pay exactly the price you set, with no added booking fees from us. Stripe payment processing applies at their standard rate (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).

The Free tier is completely free with no time limit. It includes 50 tickets per 30 days, unlimited events, QR check-in, and the embeddable checkout widget. Paid plans start at $29/mo (Starter, billed quarterly at $87) for up to 750 tickets per quarter. No credit card required to sign up.

Yes. Every Equaticket plan includes an embeddable checkout widget. Paste a single script tag into your site — WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or any HTML page — and the ticket purchase flow runs directly on your site. Buyers never leave your domain.

Every ticket includes a unique QR code. Your staff scan it using any smartphone camera through our check-in app — no hardware required, no app store download needed. Paid plans include real-time multi-device sync, so multiple scanners at multiple gates stay in sync instantly with no double-entries.
