How Recurring Event Series works
Set up once, run forever
Create your series template with title, description, venue, ticket types, and pricing. Equaticket generates instances automatically — up to 12 weeks ahead for weekly series, 26 weeks for monthly. The {{date}} placeholder in your title is replaced with the actual date of each instance.
Customize individual dates
Each instance inherits from your template. Edit a specific instance directly — change the description for a special guest, adjust pricing for a holiday show, add a note about a venue change. Your customizations are preserved when you update the template.
Bulk publish or publish by date
Publish all upcoming draft instances in one click, or review and publish each date individually. Buyers can only see published instances.

Calendar-first booking experience
Buyers land on your booking page and see your available time slots. They pick the time that works for them and complete checkout. No separate event pages, no navigating between listings.
Per-slot capacity management
Set a capacity limit per slot. When a slot fills, it shows as unavailable. Need to close a slot for maintenance or a private booking? Use the pause toggle to block it without deleting it.
Check-in works the same way
Slot booking tickets include a QR code. Check in attendees at the door using the Equaticket check-in app — the same scanner used for standard events.
